USPS mail carrier arrested for shoplifting at Buc-ee’s, stealing debit cards from mail that wasn’t hers, police say
"...A United States postal worker is facing multiple theft charges, including opening mail that didn’t belong to her, after police said she was caught stealing at a Buc-ee’s in Leeds, Alabama.
While in custody for shoplifting at the store, police searched 39-year-old Amber Beard’s purse and car and found stolen merchandise, a multitude of checks, credit and debit cards, and Alabama drivers’ licenses not belonging to her, as well as U.S. mail addressed to several people in the Birmingham area.
While in custody, Beard told officers she works for USPS. ..."
"The Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries (ADAI) has announced it recently received reports of the seeds being delivered to residents across the state through the United States Postal Service.
