Former N.J. postal worker admits stealing $100K in sports memorabilia from mail

St. Louis-area postal supervisor accused of stealing 90 checks from mail

"...Benita D. Randle, 42, was indicted on one federal charge of theft of mail by a U.S. Postal Service employee earlier this month. She pleaded not guilty to that criminal charge on Thursday.

According to a federal indictment, on Oct. 31, 2023, Randle stole nearly 90 checks from mail that had been entrusted to the Postal Service for delivery. She reportedly stole the checks while employed as a supervisor at the St. Louis Processing and Distribution Center. ..."

Alabama | Changes coming to Owens Cross Roads Post Office after packages were left out in the rain

"...Getting wet packages is not only happening to Frey. A number of messages popped up in an Owens Cross Roads Facebook group saying the same thing happened to them. They believe the local post office is to blame.

“Anybody can access the packages and they will. Somebody is going to go by there and swipe a bunch of stuff.”

WAFF took these concerns to a spokesperson for the postal service.

“The office stands ready to assist any constituent experiencing untimely mail delivery or receiving damaged packages. Congressman Strong will continue to hold USPS accountable,” a spokesperson for Congressman Dale Strong’s office said.

Congressman Robert Aderholt, who funded a bill holding the postal service accountable, also weighed in on the issue.”..."
