FedEx board member Steiner likely to become Postal Service’s next postmaster general

"...Various media outlets reported in early May that the United States Postal Service’s board of governors plans to appoint David Steiner as the next postmaster general.

Steiner, the former CEO of Waste Management, serves as a board member for FedEx, a major competitor to the Postal Service in the package delivery sector.

The board of governors is scheduled to meet May 9, but there is no mention of a vote ..."
