"...LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The U.S. Postal Service recently sent out an alert to customers about delays at the Louisville Processing and Distribution Center.
The alert comes as residents report mail delays...Employees at the Gardiner Lane facility continue to share photos and videos showing bins filled with mail and letters piled along hallways inside the processing and distribution center. While mail volume typically increases during the holiday season, employees said the backlog started much earlier this year. Several said the post office began falling behind even before Thanksgiving.
Last Friday morning, semi trucks were seen lined up outside the building, backing up traffic as drivers waited to load and unload."
