USPS proposes changes to Yakima's postal processing facility.

"...YAKIMA- Following a public meeting held February 28th - attended by around 40 residents - Yakima resident now have just two weeks until March 14th to give feedback to the US Postal Service about a proposal to relocate some of Yakima County's mail processing to Spokane. At Wednesday's meeting, the USPS Pacific Northwest Division Senior Processing Director Brian Gaines, told residents that mail within the county would still be processed in Yakima, but anything with a zip code other than 989 would be sent to Spokane for processing. ..."
