Mail carriers apologize for late delivery

"...“Our trucks have been late from Birmingham,” Cheatham said. “The Postal Service has consolidated Huntsville and Tuscaloosa in Birmingham, and they haven’t been able to work all the load.” As of 10:45 a.m. Thursday, Cheatham said the Alexander City Post Office had yet to receive its Birmingham mail shipment. ..."
