U.S. Postal Service employee in Akron took bribes to steer $16 million worth of contracts, feds say

"...AKRON, Ohio — A U.S. Postal Service employee in Akron is accused of accepting bribes to dole out millions of dollars worth of contracts to business owners who sought to use their trucks to help deliver mail, according to charges unsealed Thursday.

Josef Ratcliff, who worked as a purchase and supply specialist, took in at least $32,900 in bribes in exchange for steering $16.3 million worth of contracts..."
